It was after the first day of school and we decided to relax a little in a rooftop pool. I saw her swimming and realized the soft evening light on her face. I saw the reflection in the water and asked her to go half way down so her eyes were close to the surface and reflected well. The picture just happened and I think she has a really strong expression. When preparing the image for print, I only made minor edits, softening skin and a slight contrast adjustment.

I was just practicing with my camera in the school garden and I saw the moth on the white flower. by using the rule of thirds I took the picture up close. I got down until I was on eye level with the flower so there was no background destruction. In my opinion, the white flower makes a nice contrast with the green grass. By using a wide aperture, and getting close the depth of field was shallow so that only the flower is sharp. This picture has a lot of negative space, which makes the center of interest stronger, also we can tell how big the flower is because of the moth sitting on it which gives the picture proportion. The picture also includes economy because it's a simple picture wit a strong center of interest.
